High school basketball result: Beaufort girls vs. Berkeley

Beaufort 41, Berkeley 29: Naijuia Moyd scored 19 points and the Eagles applied the defensive clamps to knock Berkeley out of a share of the Region 8-4A lead.

Beaufort (13-9, 3-5 region) held Berkeley to just 17 points through the first three quarters, including just two points in the third quarter to take a 25-17 lead into the final period.

Imari Smalls contributed 11 points for the Eagles, while Terrayah Williams added nine points and eight rebounds.
