High school basketball result: Battery Creek girls at Bluffton

Battery Creek 55, Bluffton 49: Taquasha Lampkin scored 15 points as the Dolphins, ranked No.7 in Class 3A, held off a late Bluffton surge to notch their sixth consecutive victory.

Battery Creek (12-4) led 39-28 with one period remaining, but the Bobcats closed within four before the Dolphins put the game away. Xania Bryant led Bluffton with 11 points.
