High school basketball result: Thomas Heyward girls vs. Dorchester Academy

Thomas Heyward 39, Dorchester Academy 35: Ivy Bryan hit a trio of free throws down the stretch Thursday evening, capping an 11-point performance that sealed the Rebels’ sixth victory in seven January games.

Bryan scored all 11 of her points in the second half for the Rebels (17-2), who now have beaten Dorchester Academy twice in three meetings this season.

Ellie Bryan, Ivy’s sister, also tallied 11 points for Thomas Heyward, while Haylee Wade added seven points and Jamie Davis had six.
