High school basketball result: Hilton Head Prep girls at HHCA

Hilton Head Christian 53, Hilton Head Prep 19: Macee Tamminen poured in 21 points and the Eagles held Prep to just eight first-half points to notch their seventh win in their past eight outings.

Brielle McCarthy added 10 points for HHCA (15-2, 5-0 region), as she and Tamminen sparked the Eagles’ defensive pressure. Sydney DeSimone added six points for HHCA.
