John Paul II 60, Thomas Heyward 55: Rashad Battiste scored 19 points and pulled down 11 rebounds as the Golden Warriors overcame a three-point deficit entering the final period.

Karl Johnson added 17 points and eight rebounds for JP2 (13-4), which entered the contest having lost three of their previous four outings. Nyleem Wright added seven points.
