High school basketball result: Whale Branch boys at Bluffton

Whale Branch 53, Bluffton 47: George Delaney’s 17 points led a trio of Warriors in double figures as Whale Branch completed a sweep of its three games this week.

Xyion Youmans added 16 points and Kenny Brown had 15 for the Warriors (10-4), ranked 10th in the latest Class 2A coaches poll.

Jermaine Patterson poured in 23 points to pace Bluffton, while Tyrese Sandgren scored 15.
