High school basketball result: Hilton Head Prep girls vs. St. Andrew’s

Hilton Head Prep 33, St. Andrew’s 27: Catherine Sheehan scored 15 points to lead the Dolphins, including a 3-pointer with under a minute remaining to seal Prep’s region opener.

The contest was close throughout, with Prep holding an 18-16 halftime lead and pushing the cushion to five by the end of the third quarter. Kierstin Clark added eight points and six steals for the Dolphins, while Ayannah Thompson had six points and nine rebounds.
