High school basketball result: John Paul II boys vs. Orangeburg Prep

John Paul II 68, Orangeburg Prep 57: Rashad Battiste scored 32 points and pulled down 16 rebounds as the Golden Warriors rallied in the final period to wrest the lead back from their hosts at the Orangeburg Prep Invitational.

JP2 led by as many as 10 points early in the third quarter before the Indians surged to take a three-point lead into the final period. But the Golden Warriors regrouped to outscore Orangeburg Prep 24-10 in the final period to win pulling away.

Karl Johnson added 20 points for JP2 (8-1), along with eight rebounds and five steals.
