High school basketball result: May River girls at Beaufort

Beaufort 62, May River 47: Naijuia Moyd scored 25 points in propelling the Eagles to their third consecutive victory.

Beaufort used a strong first half to forge a 34-24 lead by intermission and open the gap even further in the final quarter. Imari Smalls added 19 points for the Eagles (5-2).

Casey Sullivan tallied 12 points and eight rebounds to pace May River, still winless after five games.
