High school basketball result: Bluffton boys at Whale Branch

Whale Branch 64, Bluffton 54: George Delaney’s 17 points led a quartet of Warriors in double figures as they ran past the visiting Bobcats.

Cam Miller and Kenny Brown added 15 points apiece for Whale Branch, while Xyion Youmans rounded out the foursome with 10 points.

Bluffton’s Jermaine Patterson, one of a handful of Bobcats making the transition to the hardwood after reaching football’s Lower State semifinals, led all scorers with 29 points. Fellow footballer Richard Jenkins added 14.
