High school basketball result: HHCA girls vs. Carolina Academy

Hilton Head Christian 64, Carolina Academy 32: Macee Tamminen scored 29 points and Brielle McCarthy added 23 as the Eagles ran their season-opening unbeaten streak to seven games at the Baron Classic in Sumter.

HHCA scored early and often in running out to an 18-6 advantage after one quarter and led 40-8 at halftime. Sydney DeSimone added six points for the Eagles.
