High school basketball result: Whale Branch boys at Beaufort

Beaufort 47, Whale Branch 43: Matt Garay and Kendrick Dopson scored 12 points apiece in leading the Eagles to their third straight victory to open the season.

Kenny Brown’s 22 points led Whale Branch, which led by two at halftime but was outscored 13-2 in the third quarter as Beaufort took control.
