Beaufort High boosters hosting ping pong tournament
The Beaufort High School Booster Club is hosting a ping pong tournament to benefit the Eagles’ boys tennis team.
The tournament will be held March 12 at the Beaufort High School gymnasium.
Registration will begin at 11:15 a.m., and the tournament will begin at noon.
Players will be pitted against other players of the same skill level. There will be three levels ranging from novice to “think they’re pros” — Divisions C, B and A. There will also be a junior division for players 16 and younger.
The entry fee for singles is $20 and $25 for singles and doubles.
There will also be a raffle, silent auction, trophies and food and drinks.
All players will play with the same paddles and balls. Players in need of a partner will be paired with someone of the same skill level.
Players that do not know their skill level can come early at 11:30 a.m. and be rated.
To enter, interested players should sent their name, their partner’s name, their division (junior, C, B, or A) and a check payable to Big Green Booster Club, Tennis to Todd Stone at 89 Dolphin Point Drive, Beaufort 29907.
