Hilton Head Christian Academy 5, Robert E. Lee Academy 1: The Eagles grabbed an early lead on its way to a 5-1 victory over Robert E. Lee Academy on Tuesday. The Eagles took the lead on a single in the first inning. J. D. Monts singled on a 1-0 count in the first inning, scoring two runs.

John Blackshire earned the win, tossing six and two-thirds innings, allowing one run, two hits, striking out four, and walking one. Dargan Cherry recorded the last out to earn the save. Nick Stokes took the loss for Robert E. Lee Academy. He threw six innings, allowing five runs, four hits, and striking out three.

Monts went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Eagles in hits.
