High school wrestling result: Battery Creek vs. Beaufort in tri-match

Battery Creek sweeps tri-match: The Dolphins’ pair of reigning state champions led nine match winners in a 52-28 victory over rival Beaufort, capping a sweep of Wednesday’s tri-match.

Omar Daniels and Cooper Kaminsky were joined in the win column by Tommy Bearden, Nate Torres, Pernando Whitehead, Marcel Porackey, Turhon White, Khalil Chisolm and Ahman Smalls.

The Dolphins, preseason No.1 in the Class 3A rankings, now stand 14-3 in dual matches this season, falling only to Hilton Head Island and Class 5A foes Wando and Carolina Forest.
