High school wrestling result: Battery Creek & May River at Hilton Head

Seahawks sweep tri-match: Billy Christie and Rawlin Szewcyzk led a group of six Hilton Head Island wrestlers who notched two victories as the Seahawks claimed dual victories over the Dolphins and Sharks.

Hilton Head Island cruised to a 66-15 victory over May River, then outlasted Battery Creek 34-28.

Szewcyzk won twice at 113 pounds, while Christie did likewise at 195 as both wrestlers followed up titles captured at last weekend's Palmetto State Classic in Irmo. Also going 2-0 on the evening were Ethan Meselam (106), Logan Johnston (132), Alex Braden (145) and Zaid Rueda (220).
