Dolphins dominant in openers: Returning state champions Omar Daniels and Cooper Kaminsky were among 12 Battery Creek wrestlers to start their season 2-0 as the Dolphins opened their season with commanding victories over Military Magnet and Whale Branch.

Battery Creek, which stands No.1 in the state Class 3A preseason rankings by SCmat.com, swept Military Magnet 78-0 on Wednesday before pinning a 77-6 decision on Whale Branch.

Also winning both of their matches were Obie Wilson, Tommy Bearden, Nate Torres, Tyrus Singleton, Bison Frazier, Raymond Davis, Liam Payne, Marcel Porackey, Turhon White and Phillip Hooper.
