High school volleyball result: Thomas Heyward vs. John Paul II

Thomas Heyward 3, John Paul II 1: Madison Cooler hammered home a season-best 36 kills and added eight service aces to lead Thomas Heyward to reached the 20-win mark with a four-set victory.

The Rebels (20-1) split the first two sets before capturing their 15th consecutive match, taking control with a 25-9 breeze in the third set and winning the fourth 25-17.

Zoe Reynolds tallied 24 assists and Bailey Brown added nine for Thomas Heyward, while Ivy Bryan contributed six kills and five assists.

Abigail Barker and Jasmine Hamilton led John Paul II with six kills apiece, while Abby Puplava hit the floor for 37 digs. Marissa Majorkiewicz added 25 digs as the Golden Warriors became just the fourth team this month to take a set off THA.
