High school volleyball result: John Paul II vs. Step of Faith Chrisitan

John Paul II 3, Step of Faith 0: Abigail Barker notched 12 kills and 16 digs as the Golden Warriors won for the third time in their past four matches.

Mary Foster Gaillard added five kills and Katy Binkowski and Jasmine Hamilton had three apiece, helping JP2 to a season-best 30 percent hitting success. The Golden Warriors also produced 26 service aces, paced by seven each from Hamilton and Abby Puplava.

Also, John Paul II officials have designated Wednesday night’s home match against St. Andrew’s as “Dig Pink Night,” with all admission and concessions proceeds to be donated to breast cancer research.
