High school golf result: Bluffton at Lady Patriot Invitational

Bluffton’s Burnett goes low at Wescott: Sophia Burnett fired a 2-under-par 70 to take medalist honors, while Bluffton finished seventh as a team at the Lady Patriot Invitational held Sunday at Wescott Plantation in North Charleston.

The Bobcats finished with a team score of 339 in the 16-team event, which featured squads ranging from Class 5A to Bluffton in Class 3A. Camila Burnett was second among Bobcats with an 81, while Kayla McIntyre carded an 87.
