High school golf result: Seahawks, Sharks, HHCA at Dolphin Head

Seahawks prevail at Dolphin Head: Madeline Prince fired a 42 and Emma Hayward added a 43 as Hilton Head Island edged out Hilton Head Christian by two strokes in a tri-match that also included May River.

HHCA’s Anna Eddy and May River’s Kathryn Thorne shared medalist honors with matching 39s, but the Seahawks took advantage of superior depth with three players among the day’s top seven.

Morgan Caramello carded a 45 and Megan Ferguson shot 51 for the Seahawks. Jamie Hubbard’s 42 was second among the Eagles; May River’s Brook Larson shot 45.
