High school tennis result: Hilton Head Prep vs. Beaufort Academy

Hilton Head Prep 7, Beaufort Academy 1: Molly Rankin’s marathon 14-12 triumph in a third-set tiebreaker capped a run of five singles victories as the Dolphins cruised to victory.

Rankin outlasted BA’s Emily Potter in a marathon as three sets went to tiebreakers, with Potter bouncing back from a first-set loss to force the third set. Alexis Voulgaropolis, Cori Leonard, Lauren Harvey and Chloe Marko also scored singles wins for Prep, which also won two doubles matches.

Abby Dalton notched the lone singles victory for Beaufort Academy.
