High school tennis result: Hilton Head Christian vs. Colleton Prep

Hilton Head Christian 7, Colleton Prep 2: Meredith Ware, Rihanna Bailey and Becca Martin all pulled out third-set tiebreakers to propel the Eagles to victory.

Ware had perhaps the toughest path, outlasting Colleton Prep’s Molly Lucci 11-9 in the deciding tiebreaker. Bailey was a 10-7 tiebreak winner over Allison Foster, while Martin prevailed 10-3 in her final set.

HHCA’s Emma Kate Bell and Kaylee Spears won their singles matches in straight sets.
