The Dolphins had taken a 6-4 lead with three runs in the sixth, as Emily Crosby ripped an RBI single and later stole home. Journeigh Doray capped the scoring when she came home on a Dillon error.

Crosby, Doray, Michaux Gee, Alexis Ortiz and Kyleigh Peeples each produced two hits in Battery Creek’s 12-hit attack, with Crosby driving home two runs. Ortiz pitched a complete game, allowing 11 hits and striking out three.
