Athletic Club of the Lowcountry to feature HH Prep AD Rich Basirico

Hilton Head Prep athletics director Rich Basirico will be the featured speaker for Monday night’s monthly meeting of the Athletic Club of the Lowcountry, starting at 7 p.m. at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Bluffton.

Basirico has been Prep’s athletics director since 2011, on the heels of a 500-win career as the Dolphins’ basketball coach. He captured five state titles during his 26-year career, along with 14 conference champs.

Basirico also has coached football, baseball and softball during his tenure at Hilton Head Prep, and has traveled extensively through the United States and Europe to lead clinics.

Those wishing to attend Monday night’s meeting are asked to register with Judy Berry at 843-705-5223. There is a $5 fee for attendees who are not ACL members.
