Beaufort High boosters finalizing ping pong tournament

Saturday is the deadline for entrants to sign up for next weekend’s Beaufort High School ping pong fundraiser, with proceeds to benefit the Eagles’ boys tennis team.

The March 12 event will begin at noon at the Beaufort High School gymnasium. Entry fees are $20 for singles or $25 for a doubles team. The program also will feature a raffle, silent auction, trophies and food.

The competition will be divided into three skill classifications, plus a junior division for players 16 and younger. Entrants will be matched against other players of the same skill level, and players in need of a partner will be paired with someone of the same skill level.

Players that do not know their skill level can come early at 11:30 a.m. and be rated.
