Myrtle Beach knocks off Hilton Head in 3-A girls tennis Lower State final

Hilton Head Island fell 6-0 to Myrtle Beach on Tuesday in the Class 3-A girls tennis Lower State Championship at Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort.

"We played hard, we fought hard," Hilton Head Island head coach Jennifer Weiterkamper said.

"The score doesn't indicate how hard they played. Any court could have won. I'm proud of them. It wasn't our Seahawks' season. It was theirs."
