Whale Branch gets 1st region win, 28-20 over Academic Magnet

DJ Davis rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns, and Jamar Scott added a touchdown pass and a touchdown run to lead Whale Branch over Academic Magnet 28-20 on Friday.

The win is the first of the season in Region 5-AA for the Warriors (3-4, 1-1).

Academic Magnet (6-2, 1-1) had been holding teams to six points a game, while scoring 39.
