Ridgeland-Hardeeville's struggles continued Friday night with a 41-6 loss at Wade Hampton.
The loss dropped the Jaguars to 1-6 and 0-2 in Region 5-AA.
"(The problem is) experience by our younger kids and from many of the first-time players that are seniors," Jaguars head coach Jahmaal Nelson said about his team's struggles before Friday's game. "However, it has some to do with lack of effort and commitment by most of the older kids, because they haven't put the work in, and its their first and only year."
Nelson said the playoffs haven't crossed his mind.
