In its first contest in two weeks, John Paul II Catholic School came up short against Cathedral Christian of Charleston, falling 46-36 at Hardeeville.
Karl Johnson scored on several long rushes from scrimmage, totaling 266 rushing yards and five touchdowns for the Golden Warriors.
Johnson was accompanied by Mark Tigges, who rushed for 78 yards.
The Golden Warriors started off slow with single-digit net yards of offense in the first quarter as the Generals scored on nearly every possession.

Cathedral (2-5, 2-4), though plagued by penalties, continued to score behind running back Gavin Facciane, who tallied 113 rushing yards in the first half.
After trailing 22-8 at the half, the Golden Warriors (1-7, 1-5) brought the game within two scores on multiple occasions, even recovering an onside kick late in the fourth. But the Generals were too much.
Facciane finished with 174 yards for the Generals, followed by Maynard Rivers with 134 yards.
