Ridgeland-Hardeeville's Fraser named IPBG Player of the Week for Week 4

Ridgeland-Hardeeville running back Desjon Fraser is the IPBG High School Football Player of the Week for Week 4.

Fraser rushed eight times for 201 yards and four touchdowns in the Jaguars' 58-0 win over Military Magnet.

Fraser also won the fan vote with 67.1 percent of the vote. Beaufort High's Wyatt Sherpensky was second with 21.9 percent of the vote.

Fans cast 3,465 votes this week. The fan voting accounts for one-third of the voting.

Members of the Island Packet and Beaufort GAzette sports staff hold the othher two votes.
