Faith Christian hammers John Paul II 66-0

Faith Christian routed John Paul II 66-0 on the road Friday to drop the Golden Warriors to 1-4 in their first season of SCISAA 8-man varsity football.

"It was not a good game today," John Paul II head coach Eric Notarus said.

Junior quarterback Karl Johnson did put together one solid drive in the fourth quarter, rushing for 53 yards on four carries.

"Some guys are starting to click," Notarus said. "Our blocking is starting to improve against formidable opponents."
