Prep roundup, Sept. 16: Beaufort splits volleyball tri-match

Beaufort High School split a volleyball tri-match with Battery Creek and Orangeburg-Wilkinson High Schools Tuesday night.

Beaufort defeated Battery Creek 25-17, 22-25, 15-10 and fell to O-W, 13-25, 26-24, 11-15.

Key contributors for the Eagles included Tamaira Holmes (11 kills), Hannah Phillips (10 kills, two aces), Kaylie Richardson (six kills, one ace, four solo blocks, eight digs), Kendra Williams (four kills, 10 digs), Courtney Kirberger (two aces, 21 assists, nine digs), Hanna Straut (18 assists, two digs) and Rebecca Fancher (eight digs).
