Hilton Head Christian junior voted Island Packet HS Football Player of Week
The fourth week of the high school football regular season is in the books.
The votes are in, and Hilton Head Christian’s Kres Langhals won the vote for The Island Packet’s High School Football Player of the Week.
The nominees are listed below. Please note that these polls are not scientific and are meant to be just for fun.

Player of the Week Nominees
Kres Langhals, ATH, Hilton Head Christian: Junior had four tackles, a sack, three quarterback hurries, forced fumble and returned an interception and fumble for a touchdown in a win over John Paul II.
Aedan McCarthy, QB, Bluffton: Senior was 29-of-39 passing for 352 yards and four touchdowns in the win over Hampton County.
Zavier Polite, DE, May River: Junior had eight tackles (7 solo), 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack in the win over Brookland-Cayce.
Jayden Simmons, DL, Beaufort: Senior had 11 tackles (1 for loss) in the win over Goose Creek.
Nych Underwood, RB/LB, Beaufort Academy: Senior carried it 19 times for 186 yards, four touchdowns and had an interception in a win over Lee Academy.
