NFL, college standouts back for 2025 All-American football camp at Hilton Head Island
NFL and college football players return to the Lowcountry this weekend for the annual All-American Football Camp.
The 20th annual camp, run by Hilton Head Island football coach BJ Payne, will be Friday through Sunday at Hilton Head High’s football stadium.
The camp is for kindergarten through eighth graders. The cost is $160 and you can register online at www.islandreccenter.org or walk-ups will be accepted the day of the camp. The price of the camp includes a T-Shirt and water bottle. Registration begins at 4 p.m. on Friday.
This year’s staff has current NFL player and former HHI standout Poona Ford, who signed a three-year contract with the Los Angeles Rams in March. Jakeem Grant, a former NFL Pro Bowler with the Chicago Bears, and Notre Dame’s Jaylen Sneed also will be instructors. Sneed, former SC Mr. Football at HHI, played in the National Championship game last season with Notre Dame and had 51 tackles.
Other college instructors include Billy Schrauth (Notre Dame), Leonard Moore (Notre Dame), CJ Bailey (NC State). Riley Pettijohn (Ohio State), Payton Pierce (Ohio State), Brandon Cisse (South Carolina), Shaikh Thompson (ECU), Ty Chan (UConn) Jaiden Jones (Morehouse). Troy Timko (Wofford), Gaston Moore and James Vollono (Special teams coach at Syracuse, Troy, Mississippi St and FIU)
