HHCA’s Harper Mitchell voted Island Packet’s high school football Player of the Week
The votes are in, and Hilton Head Christian’s Harper Mitchell wins the vote for The Island Packet’s High School Football Player of the Week.

Will Codding, LB, Beaufort: Senior had eight tackles (two for loss), a sack, forced a fumble and caught three passes for 33 yards and a touchdown in a win over Colleton County.
Gage Duncan, RB/DB, May River: Senior had three carries for 65 yards and a TD. On defense, Duncan had three tackles and two interceptions in the win over Bishop England.
Bryant Jolley, RB, John Paul II: Senior carried 26 times for 218 yards and four touchdowns in a win over Hilton Head Prep.
Harper Mitchell, DE, Hilton Head Christian: Senior had nine tackles, three sacks and forced fumble in a win over First Baptist.
Donovan Robinson, WR/DB, Thomas Heyward: Senior had four tackles, picked off three passes and caught a pass in the win over Andrew Jackson Academy.
Dietrich Shuford, QB, Beaufort Academy: Senior was 8 of 9 passing for 105 yards and a TD, and also carried six times for 93 yards and a TD in a win over Faith Christian.
