The Hilton Head Island tennis picked up a 6-0 win over Bluffton on Thursday.

Beaufort, May River home games sold out
Friday’s Bluffton at May River and James Island football games are sold out and no tickets will be sold at the door.
The reduced capacity for the games because of COVID-19 is 1,000 fans. The May River-Bluffton game usually draws about 4,000 fans during a normal year.
Friday’s game will be Beaufort’s opener after last week’s matchup was canceled because of Lexington players’ exposure to COVID-19.
May River moves into rankings
May River moved into the SC High School Football Prep Media poll rankings this week. The Sharks are No. 8 in Class 4A after their opening 28-7 win last week over James Island.
Whale Branch moved up one spot to No. 8 in Class A rankings.

South Carolina Women’s Golf Association Tournament
The Hilton Head Prep golf team finished third at the South Carolina Women’s Golf Association over the weekend.
Prep shot 605 and finished seven shots back of winner Lexington. May River (676) was seventh.
Hilton Head Prep’s Mackenzie Gallagher shot an even-part 144 and finished third overall. Prep’s Camilla Burnett (150) finished tied for 14th.
