Hilton Head High girls moved to 4-0 with a 48-18 home victory over Effingham County on Tuesday.
The Seahawks once again were strong on defense – shutting out the Rebels in the first quarter, held its opponent to single digits each quarter.
Miley Ray led the way with 16 points, followed by Chyna Fields 11 points, and Kenzie Ryan’s eight points.
Beaufort 45, Ridgeland-Hardeeville 25
Layla Warren poured in a game-high 27 points to lead Beaufort past Ridgeland-Hardeeville.
Beaufort Academy 67, Holly Hill 21
Beaufort Academy moved to 5-0 on the season.
Mike’Ala Washington led the way with 21 points. Amelia Huebel added 19 points, nine rebounds and Tahleea Heyward scored 13 points.
Hilton Head Christian 59, St. Andrews 22
Brielle McCarthy scored 13 points, all in the first half as HHCA cruised to an easy win.
Skylar Smith and Abby Peduzzi added 10 points for the Eagles.

Hilton Head Island 56, Effingham 53
Dea Seelbach scored 18 points and Adam Clark had 12 in the Seahawks’ home win.
Ridgeland-Hardeeville 53, Beaufort 46
Zyrin Odom led Beaufort with 16 points and seven rebounds and Jamaad Rivers added 13 points.
Hilton Head Prep 69, Memorial Day 60
Tyrone Calloway led the Dolphins with 27 points, and was 9-of-13 from the free-throw line.
Stone McDonald scored 23. Prep was trailing by as much as five points in the second half when sophomore Ryan Mikell came off the bench to score eight crucial points
HHP is now 4-2 on the season and hosts Cathedral Academy at 7:30pm on Friday.
Beaufort Academy 45, Holly Hill 40
Beaufort Academy bounced back from Monday’s loss with a win over Holly Hill.
Dawson Coleman led the way with 13 points. Elijah Fess had 12 points and Brandon Trapp and Malacai Rodriguez each added 10.

Hilton Head Island wins home opener
Hilton Head Island opened its home schedule with a 52-30 win over Island High School and 67-12 win over Windsor Forest.
The Seahawks are at Hillcrest tournament over the weekend.
John Paul II sweeps matches
John Paul II defeated Military Magnet, 39-36, and Colleton Prep, 42-18 on Tuesday.
