Lowcountry players picked for all-state, North-South volleyball teams

Several Lowcountry volleyball players were selected to all-state and North-South volleyball teams, which were released Friday.

Beaufort’s Madison Gallion, Hilton Head Island’s Olivia Jackson and Bluffton’s Priscilla Jean were picked to the Class 4A all-state team. Jean also was picked to play in the Class 4A/5A North-South match.

Battery Creek’s McKenzie Young and Emily Crosby were picked on the Class 3A all-state team. Whale Branch’s Whitney Salters will play for the South team in the Class A/2A/3A match.
