Hilton Head Prep’s Jonathan Griz broke a pair of pretty impressive records this weekend at the South Carolina Junior Golf Association’s Fall Challenge at Cheraw State Park.

Griz, a seventh-grader at HHP, fired an 11-under in the two-day event and won by 10 shots. Griz’s two-day total of 133 broke Wesley Bryan’s record by nine shots. His first-round total of 66 beat Kevin Kisner’s record by three shots.

Both Kisner and Bryan are now on the PGA Tour and Bryan, a former South Carolina standout, won this year’s RBC Heritage. Kisner, who is from Aiken, has won two PGA events and finished 12th in FedEx Cup points.

Bryan even tweeted when he saw Griz’s record score.

“Hey @GamecockMGolf, chck this out please!” Bryan posted on Twitter.

Griz earned all-state honors at Hilton Head Prep last year in helping the Dolphins to a runner-up finish at SCISA 2A golf tournament.
