May River’s Thorne selected for North-South golf match

May River senior Kathryn Thorne has been selected to play in the North-South girls golf matches set for next weekend.

Thorne will be part of the South squad. The matches will be Nov. 10-11 at Stoney Point in Greenwood.

Thorne tied for fourth in Class 3A at last month’s state championship in helping May River to a third-place finish.
