Gamecocks softball picks up commitment from May River sophomore
May River softball player Kylie Gleason made her college choice over the weekend.
The sophomore verbally committed to play at South Carolina.
Gleason was second on May River with a .530 average, had 36 runs scored, two triples and drove in 13 runs last year. She also went 1-0 on the mound in four appearances.
May River went 20-7 last year and made the playoffs for the first time in school history. The Sharks’ season ended with a loss to Dillon.
