High school soccer playoffs: Hilton Head Island girls vs. St. James

Hilton Head Island 3, St. James 1: Kendall Moran opened the scoring for the Seahawks and Hannah Stanhope tallied the rest as the Seahawks advanced to the Class 4A Lower State semifinals.

The Seahawks, who advanced to a Friday contest at home against Dreher, are now unbeaten in their past six outings. Dreher booked its place in the Lower State semifinals with a 6-2 win over Colleton County.

The lone St. James goal came on a late penalty kick.
