High school tennis playoffs: Battery Creek boys vs. Gilbert

Gilbert 4, Battery Creek 2: Clinton Taylor and Julius Thompson scored singles victories, but the Dolphins couldn’t come up with one more to force a deciding doubles match.

Taylor was a 6-1, 6-0 winner over Zach Henley in No.2 singles, while Thompson defeated Nick Best 6-1, 6-2.
