High school softball playoffs: Battery Creek vs. Swansea

Battery Creek 10, Swansea 0: Alexis Ortiz pitched a two-hitter over five innings, while Emily Crosby drove home four runs as the Dolphins dominated.

Battery Creek took control with a six-run first inning, sending 11 batters to the plate as Crosby singled home two runs and Kelsey Hill had an RBI double. The Dolphins travel to top seed Aynor on Saturday for a spot in their Class 3A district title game.
