High school baseball playoffs: Whale Branch vs. Calhoun County

Calhoun County 11, Whale Branch 0: The Warriors were held to just one hit by Calhoun County’s Noah Bearden, falling into a Class 2A elimination game Thursday at home against Silver Bluff.

Irvin Mulligan produced Whale Branch’s lone hit with a leadoff single in the second. Bearden then proceeded to retire the next 15 batters in order.
