High school tennis result: Hilton Head Island boys at Hilton Head Prep

Hilton Head Prep 5, Hilton Head Island 1: Rodney Sturgis and Conrad Alford pulled out third-set tiebreakers to help the Dolphins pull away to victory.

Sturgis was a 10-8 winner in his third set against the Seahawks’ Cooper Steinour in No.2 singles, while Alford won by the same score over Alex Ittenbach.

Marcus Ferreira, Evan Hrykeiwitz and the doubles team of Thor Pullon and Max Marko posted Prep’s other victories. Michael Oliver claimed the lone win for the Seahawks.
