High school baseball result: May River vs. Wade Hampton

Wade Hampton 4, May River 2: The Sharks managed to outhit Wade Hampton, but couldn’t find timely production in their second close loss of the week to the Red Devils.

Seven May River starters had at least one hit, with Jack Hegan producing two singles, but the Sharks managed only single runs in the third and sixth innings.

Josh Patterson scattered six Wade Hampton hits over 5 2/3 innings on the mound, striking out six with five walks.
