High school softball result: Whale Branch vs. Woodland

Woodland 10, Whale Branch 0: The Warriors managed just five hits against Woodland’s Bri Wilson, unable to cash in on two situations with runners on second and third.

Rikia Singleton’s one-out single in the second was followed by an Alicia Davis double, but Wilson settled down to strike out the next two batters.

Two innings later, Cydney Boggs’ leadoff double was followed by another Singleton single, but Davis popped out and Wilson notched two more strikeouts.
