High school baseball result: May River vs. Centreville (Va.)

Centreville (Va.) 9, May River 2: Vance Summers had two of May River’s three hits as the Sharks were held in check by Centreville’s John Farley and two relievers in their Seahawk Baseball Invitational meeting.

The Wildcats scored twice in the second inning to break a 1-1 tie, then added to their cushion with two more runs in the third.

Jeffrey Hodge had an RBI double for the Sharks, while Josh Patterson brought home May River’s other run on a groundout.
